This covers a wide variety of instructions, but commonly includes inspection for “Osmosis” (when a vessel is involved) and other any other problems which may occur.  Investigations of structural problems and sinkings are also covered.  Overseeing specific items of repair work or preparing reports for individuals and insurance companies in the case of disputes.
